Caroling and Wassailing with the Augusta Heritage Center

Caroling and Wassailing with the Augusta Heritage Center

Join The Augusta Heritage Center on Tuesday, December 21 for some caroling and more!

5 pm – We’ll meet in the Senate Commons of the Myles Center for the Arts (by Harper McNeely Auditorium) and sing through the songs. Lyric sheets will be provided, and these will all be favorites you probably already know.

5:45 (ish) – We’ll meet by the Gatehouse of Davis and Elkins College and begin to sing our way through the streets of the Wees Historic District. Our path will be up Elm Street and back down Buffalo Street.

After we carol we’ll head across the City Park to El Gran Sabor where we’ll warm ourselves and be led in song by Emily Miller. Other merrymaking events to occur. Celebrate with food, drink, and friends.

All are welcome. Participate in the whole event or the parts that resonate with you. Festive attire encouraged!

The Augusta Heritage Center is known internationally for teaching, presenting, and nurturing traditional music, folklife and folk art. It is located on the campus of Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, WV.
