Robert Rose melds the dexterity of his former surgical career with artistic vision to make hand-crafted acoustic guitars, mandolins, and ukuleles of native and exotic hardwoods embellished with custom pearl inlay. He specializes in building dreadnought and parlor size guitars in the Martin style from beginning to end in his Randolph County workshop, and his goal is to make an instrument that sounds as beautiful as it looks. Bob also produces an original furniture-grade cherry instrument stand in two sizes. A juried member of Tamarack: the Best of West Virginia, he accepts custom orders.
Bob Rose exhibits in shows and festivals in West Virginia and can be contacted about available inventory or to make an appointment to visit his studio workshop in Randolph County.
