In this class students will learn how to make their own paper, and get an introductory overview of various pigmenting, dying, and decorative techniques, as well as an introduction to three-dimensional applications of papermaking. The process can be a bit wet, so wearing some sort of apron and waterproof shoes is recommended. The Twelfth Annual Ramps and Rail Festival will be held on April 24, 2021. The festival continues to grow each year and the Depot hopes everyone will come out again this year! People can try out different ramp-themed foods and listen to live music, enjoy the craft vendors, and vote for their favorite vendors. Each year the festivities start at 10am and continue until 5pm. Coffee and tea drinkers welcome! We are creating our very own mugs and we are showing you how. Step by step, beginners welcome. Returning students also welcome. This is a fun introduction with lots of opportunity. At the end of class, you'll have a one-on-one glaze consultation with your instructor to choose your glaze color. Class work is then dried, fired twice in our on-site kiln, and professionally glazed, and will be ready for pick up within 2 to 3…
