About

Mill Whistle Arts Co-op is a part of the Richwood Heritage Center & Mill Whistle Arts, operated by dedicated, local artisans. The Museum and Co-op provide a portrayal of Richwood’s history and how it was shaped by its location in the forest. Richwood is still a lumber town, boasting 2 lumber mills. It also offers fishing, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, good food, coffee, music, and peaceful small-town living.

The artwork for sale at Mill Whistle Arts reflects this history with items made from wood, clothespins, and many items which reflect activities offered here. Open from 10-6 on Fridays and Saturdays, you will find quilts, pillows, table runners, ceramics, wooden toys, coffee, and local honey. A variety of paintings, photographs, and unique handmade jewelry, as well as seasonal primitives, are also available. Christmas ornaments, too, reflect the area with golf ball Santas, replicas of the clothespin factory box, cyclists’ medallions, and more. All items that can be purchased in the store, can be shipped priority mail.

Follow  the Mill Whistle Arts Co-op Facebook page to stay up to date.

If you are passing through Richwood on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, Richwood Heritage Center & Mill Whistle Arts sponsor a Tasty Tuesdays Pop-up bakery from 12-6. (You might find some goodies there through the weekend as well!) Whether it be artwork, crafts, or food items, there is always something for everyone at Mill Whistle Arts.
